All is not well in Busia County, Car thieves with good connections in the local police circles are operating with impunity.
Teachers, pensioners and even artists are bearing the brunt of these persistent thieves.
On a near daily basis cars are stolen in Funyula, Budalangi, Butula and Matayos never to be found again.
The local police on their part are both clueless and reluctant to even investigate.
In Busia town, the County Police team on their part is busy hobnobbing with the car theft cartel leaders.
The main car theft cartel boss, one Mr Abdul is the one operating the Busia Police Station Canteen !
If President Ruto is serious about needing votes from Busia in 2027, he should begin with providing SECURITY for the PROPERTY of Busians.
